Sunny and warm day for a picnic, a bike ride, and some music.
Saturday turned out to be perfect for a September bike ride. The day dawned crisp and clear, just right for the long riders to leave the Rochester area Family Y just before sunrise.
RavensFire was ready at the end of the ride to give the riders that extra lift of fun music. The ride was organized so that most riders, the eighty-milers and the twelve-milers, all got to the end about the same time. Everyone enjoyed some lunch and some great Irish and traditional music.

Tour de Cure, Rochester Area Family Y
Best of all, our son-in-law Brent was one of the riders, so the family was there to cheer him on. His team raised money for the American Diabetes Association. There’s a lot more information about the ADA and their Rochester event at the ride’s website.
