The Emmetsburg Chamber of Commerce sponsors a celebration of St Patrick’s Day each year. It’s a huge celebration. RavensFire participated in several events over the weekend.

RavensFire‘s part of the weekend started with the dedication of a monument in the city park.

The main event was the famous St. Patrick’s Day Parade (over 100 units!) down Broadway. The snow was blowing on a cold wind, but thousands of people lined the streets to cheer us on.

After the parade was the eighth annual Social Gathering of the Clans at the Emmetsburg Fire Department. Hundreds of people celebrated all afternoon to the music of RavensFire.

That evening, we joined the McCain family for a few tunes and dinner at their home.

On Sunday morning the Holy Family Parish invited RavensFire to join their Palm Sunday services. The congregation, and the entire town, were exceptionally welcoming.
