RavensFire at Kutzky Park Porchfest

The Kutzky Park Neighborhood Association in Rochester sponsored its first Porchfest last weekend. A dozen homes opened their front porches, driveways and yards to musical groups and hundreds of wandering guests. RavensFire played at Judy’s house, and our friends and neighbors came out to listen. Other popular groups like the D’Sievers played on other porches and one of the houses featured a food truck.

A long time ago when Judy and Guy were shopping for a house, they saw the old four-square in downtown Rochester and thought “That porch looks like fun.” Little did they know just how much fun would come along in 2016 when nearly one hundred people watched RavensFire entertain with fun Irish and folk music.

Judging from the smiles on everyone’s faces that early Fall afternoon, the Kutzky Park Neighborhood Porchfest will be back next year. Many thanks to the neighborhood association for sponsoring the event.
