RavensFire at the Tour de Cure 2016

Last weekend RavensFire played for the American Diabetes Association Tour de Cure in Rochester, Minnesota. The event is a fund raiser for diabetes research and patient education. The band donated their time and part of the proceeds from CD sales.

Lots of our friends and the bike riders, who rode routes of a dozen to over eighty miles, stopped by to listen and enjoy music from RavensFire. Gorgeous weather gave everyone a reason to spend time outdoors.

Several of the band’s friends and family members have experience with diabetes, and this event gave everyone a chance to compare notes, learn about new products and services, and have a little fun. The venue, in the park next to the Rochester Area Family Y, was a great place for this event.

The RavensFire band plays traditional Irish music, folk songs, instrumentals and original music in the style of familiar Irish tunes.
