Judy, Melissa and Larry at the Plummer House benefit Murder Mystery
Twice a year the Elder Network hosts a Murder Mystery benefit performance. The events have become a tradition for RavensFire. Guests joined us at the Plummer House in Rochester to take part in an interactive play written by Suzie Hansen and put on by members of the Absolute Theatre group. We sang and played for full houses at both sessions that evening.
RavensFire entertained the crowd as they arrived, playing songs that fit with the era of the drama; the 1960s. There’s something about songs like Wipe Out that gets everyone excited and happy! After an opening act, guests moved from room to room learning new clues to solve the mystery. That’s when RavensFire entertained them again with traditional songs like Rattlin’Bog and Erie Canal.
Ticket sales go toward the necessary work of the Elder Network, which provides emotional and social support to the growing population of area seniors and their families.
