RavensFire at Comforts of the Past in Spring Valley, MN

Last Saturday night RavensFire joined the good people at Comforts of the Past Coffee house in Spring Valley for an evening of song and good food. Joanie and Wayne cooked up some mean corned beef and cabbage for a full house of friends and family in an early St. Patrick’s Day celebration.

The best part of the evening was when Judy’s two-year old grandson walked up to the band and requested Whiskey in the Jar. Who could turn him down? The band obliged, and everyone, including the baby, joined in singing and clapping to the music. The band really enjoys playing at Comforts of the Past in Spring Valley, it brings back memories of playing at the pubs in Ireland. Everyone joins in with the best songs, the music is acoustic, and the discussion flows freely.

Thank you to our many friends and family who stopped by on a chilly March evening and were warmed with fun, music and conversation. We enjoyed your company, and look forward to seeing you again soon.
