Four Daughters Vineyard and Winery

RavensFire, Four Daughters, Spring Valley MN

Four Daughters has great wine and their Loon Juice is well known and loved, but for St. Patrick’s Day we decided to try their Ale.

Last weekend the RavensFire band returned to the Four Daughters Vineyard and Winery for a relaxing afternoon of good food, good wine, and fun music. Dozens of friends braved the threat of a spring snow storm to join us at Four Daughters. Fortunately for all, the storm waited until everyone left.

Sometimes the music really draws in the people and they want more. This time they showed their love of the music by requesting songs like Danny Boy … twice! That’s one of our favorites, too, so that was an easy one.

As much as we enjoy singing and playing the favorites (and a few new tunes), we enjoy the breaks, too. That’s when we get to visit with our friends and talk to people we haven’t seen in a long time. There’s always news to share, such as hearing more about someone’s upcoming extended vacation out of the country. Maybe they’ll invite RavensFire to visit? Those conversations can’t last long, because the music draws Larry, Melissa and Judy back to the stage for another set of traditional Irish music, and much more.

The RavensFire calendar is filling up with events like Irish Festivals, town celebrations, benefits, and house parties. There are several opportunities for you to catch your favorite folks band. Join us for some fun and music!
