RavensFire warming up for the St. James Coffee House
Last weekend the RavensFire band played for the St. James Coffee House Saturday evening music series. The series features a variety of musical styles, from blues to rock and favorite traditional Irish music. Check out their event schedule on the coffee-house website.
We’ve played at the coffee-house several times and love to see our friends again; both friends of the band and those who come to all the St. James events. This time we got to play for a friend who heard us in person for the first time. That made the evening special.
The sunny and warm weather that day got a lot of people into the garden, but they saved enough energy to join us at the St. James and clap along with Whisky in a Jar and sing the chorus to the Connemara Cradle Song.
Hear the wind blow love, hear the wind blow
Hang your head over and hear the wind blow
Watch the RavensFire calendar to see where to catch the band next. We’d love to see you, especially if you haven’t been to a performance recently. We’ve been working on a lot of new material, with some songs you’re sure to enjoy.
