Austin Freedom Festival

Last weekend the RavensFire band joined millions of Americans around the country to celebrate Independence day. The band traveled to Austin, Minnesota for their annual Freedom Festival. The Austin Chamber of Commerce puts on a wonderful five-day festival, complete with fireworks, a parade, and lots of music. The weather was perfect and everyone enjoyed a warm summer day. Shade was the premium commodity, as people kept moving their chairs to stay out of the sun.

A favorite song of the day was Hurrah for the Heroes, written by Melissa and featured on the RavensFire CD.
