The RavensFire band is all about the fun of sharing music with the folks who come to listen. Local music events like Calvary Episcopal Church’s “Lunch on the Lawn” series are the perfect venue for singing along and clapping to the music. We can look each other in the eye and see smiles … that’s when we feel at home and happy.

This week the construction crew from across the street deserved a big “Thank You”  for taking their lunch break at exactly the same time RavensFire performed in the Oasis Courtyard. Some of the workers came over to enjoy the music while eating their lunch. When the music stopped, the jack hammers started up again.

While the adults were singing along and clapping to their favorite traditional tunes, the children ran around on the grass, playing games, and finding a baby bunny to watch. Maybe they’re listening to the music, too? Many pleasant memories were laid down that summer day.
