January 2019

The RavensFire band had almost fifty engagements last year, and 2019 looks like a busy year, too. After a full holiday season, with private parties and more, we took a little time off to refresh some old tunes, learn a few new ones, and get ready to entertain even more people. The RavensFire season really get started in March as we approach St. Patrick’s Day.

The Forager Brewing Company invited us back for our first gig of the year, and boy, did we have fun! Lots of friends came out on a pleasant winter evening to listen to traditional music and escape the troubles of the world. Everybody had a good time singing along to the familiar tunes, like Whisky in a Jar. We made one friend’s day by playing one of her favorite Johnny Cash songs.

Lots of people have called, messaged, and emailed us already for bookings this year. Take a look at the RavensFire Calendar to see where the band is playing next. We’re adding new events regularly. If you’ve thought of hiring a traditional Irish, Scottish, Americana, or original band for your event, please contact Melissa today. We love playing for weddings, birthday parties, and church celebrations. If you have a date in mind, don’t hesitate.
